To those who keep asking me to re-up stuff - I said wouldn't, so stop asking!!
Welcome to my blog!
UPDATE: Mediafire have suspended my account and locked my downloads. Having endured the tedium of re-uploading everything I had previously hosted on Mega Upload onto Mediafire earlier this year, I can't be arsed re-uploading everything again.
So please don't ask for things to be reuploaded!
I undertake this venture knowing that I don't have the spare time to do it, but feel that these artists NEED TO BE HEARD (please excuse my shouting!). Or is that I think I need to be heard? Or that there are (or have been) some great music blogs that have inspired me to wanna jump on the bandwagon? Probably all of the above??I hope you enjoy the blog. If I turn one person onto these bands that turned me on then it will all have been worth it!

More Mary My Hope
Ironically, "pulling the plug" on this blog has rejuvenated my interest in posting - but not enough to actually want to post anything. Maybe in a few months....
So please don't consider this post a return to blogging. Regard it more as a "haunting" - a "dead" blogger returning to relive past glories! Or regard it as unfinished business - something I intended to post but didn't get around to posting.
Here is a collection of Mary My Hope tracks I have collated from various interweb sites. I figure it's better to have it all in one place than across multiple sites. Nevertheless, thanks to the original posters of this material - I wished I'd bookmarked your sites and could give credit where it's due, but so be it.
I've now re-upped about 10% of the Mega Upload links with Media Fire links. Again, if there are any dead links you want reposted don't hesitate to ask. I've already fulfilled a few requests, and it's no problemo.

Do we know any dates/locations of the live tracks? I was wondering if Chains and Swords feature the vocalist who replaced James Hall for a short time before they broke up. Bassist & drummer formed a band after MMH called Needle which produced a 5 song demo tape. I wish I could find online someplace! Drummer was in a band called Joybang that released a 7" single.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info GW. Sorry, I don't have the dates. I assumed JH was the vocalist on all the tracks but don't know for certain.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of JH, if you come into possession of any more demos/live recordings of his, people are interested! I remember some jammy versions songs from the first 2 albums performed in 1995.
